We all need a big sister

Big Sister Hotline is a feminist advice podcast hosted by Australian writer and commentator Clementine Ford, exploring relationships, boundaries, family, career and the challenges of everyday life.

Following our collaboration on Conversations with Men, Clementine commissioned me to develop a visual identity for the podcast, with the challenge of creating something distinctive while maintaining a connection to her broader personal brand.

Using a portrait supplied by Clementine as the focal point, I developed a distinctive visual identity that felt personal, warm and approachable, reflecting the familiarity and reassurance of a real-life big sister. The design combined bold typography with a playful composition, giving the podcast its own recognisable look while remaining connected to Clementine's established brand.

The result was a recognisable identity applied across Apple Podcasts and social media, creating a consistent visual presence for the series.
