A visual identity beyond the albums

My ongoing collaboration with Melbourne heavy rock legends Lamassu has extended beyond their studio albums to include artwork for singles, EPs, merchandise and promotional materials.

Each release has presented an opportunity to explore a different aspect of the band's music, while maintaining a recognisable visual connection across their growing catalogue.

Working closely with the songwriters, I developed artwork inspired by the themes, lyrics and atmosphere of each release. From the raucous energy of 2025's party anthem Neverland to tracks including Guns, Washed Away, Battle Cry and Know Your Gods, I had the creative freedom to interpret the music through imagery, typography and composition.

My work also extended to merchandise, including patches and t-shirts, helping bring the band's visual identity beyond its recorded music. The Tarot and The Fog t-shirt designs were developed in collaboration with Melbourne-based designer and illustrator Cathie Glassby, bringing together our creative approaches to produce distinctive artwork for the band.

Alongside these projects, I created promotional designs for live performances and digital platforms, adapting the band's visual identity across different formats while maintaining its distinctive character.

The result is an evolving body of work that reflects Lamassu's musical identity and the strength of an ongoing creative partnership.
